Frequently Asked Questions

The Pascal Health Institute is a specialty care clinic that may operate outside of conventional insurance models. We recommend contacting our office directly to discuss current payment options. Many of our patients use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to cover care.

No, we are an outpatient clinic. Patients come for a morning and/or afternoon appointment. We also offer discounts at select hotels and nearby apartment accommodations for traveling patients.

We specialize in complex and chronic conditions, especially those involving the nervous and immune systems. Common conditions we see include:

  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Autoimmune disorders (e.g., Hashimoto’s, lupus, RA)
  • Digestive disorders (IBS, leaky gut, food sensitivities)
  • Neurologic pain syndromes
  • Mold and environmental illness
  • Allergies (food, chemical, environmental)
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Stress-related illness and fatigue

We do not treat symptoms in isolation — we identify and address the underlying causes so that real healing can occur.

No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to schedule an initial consultation.

Yes. We offer a free 20-minute consultation to learn about your health history and current symptoms and determine whether care at our clinic is the best fit for your needs.

Your first visit is focused on listening, evaluation, and discovery. You’ll meet with Dr. Pascal to review your full health history, discuss your symptoms, and begin identifying root causes of illness. Depending on your case, we may also perform specialized testing or neurological assessments.

Because we offer personalized care plans for each patient, appointment lengths vary. Total duration depends on your condition and response to care.

Yes. Patients travel from across the country and internationally to receive care at the Pascal Health Institute. We can help coordinate your visit and provide guidance for those traveling for extended care programs.

No. We do not offer any type of virtual appointment aside from the free Zoom consultation upon becoming a new patient.

No. We focus on non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical care. Our treatments encourage the body to heal and allow the patient to discuss weaning off of medications with their provider if they are interested in doing so. Dr. Pascal does not give advice on medications, as it is not in his scope of practice.

We do not collaborate with primary care specialists. We evaluate what the PCP has done prior to care, but there would not be any contact between our office and theirs or between Dr. Pascal and the PCP themselves. We can print paperwork for a fee for the patient to take to their primary care upon request.

We accept major credit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Please contact our office for details on payment arrangements or to inquire about financing options if needed.

We are located at 200 Keisler Dr., Suite C, Cary, NC 27518. Free parking is available directly outside our building.

We ask that you bring a list of your current medications and supplements, any relevant lab work, imaging, or medical records, your completed intake forms, and a notebook or questions you’d like to discuss (optional).
